Mrs. Acheampomaah Opoku Afari Esq.

Acheampomaah Opoku Afari is a seasoned HR Practitioner, Consultant, and private legal practitioner with a rich and diverse professional background. Her academic journey began at Martyrs of Uganda in Kumasi, where her exceptional performance in the BECE exams earned her admission to Wesley Girls’ High School. She went on to pursue a bachelor’s degree in political science and Theatre Arts from the University of Ghana.

Acheampomaah’s career started at Nestlé Ghana Limited in Human Resources, where her passion for people management motivated her to obtain an MBA in Human Resource Management from the University of Ghana Business School. Her interest in law led her to earn a Bachelor of Law degree from GIMPA Law School, followed by her call to the Bar after completing training at the Ghana School of Law.

With nearly seven years in private legal practice, Acheampomaah has developed expertise in areas including family law, property settlements, debt recovery, land litigation, and the drafting of legal agreements. Her role as Company Secretary for several institutions highlights her deep understanding of corporate governance. A respected speaker, she has presented at prestigious international events, such as the International Health Insurance Conference in Kigali and Aon’s Insurance Community Program in the UK.

She holds a master’s in law (LLM) with a specialization in Insurance Law from Queen Mary University of London and currently serves as Co-director and Board Secretary for Equity Health Insurance Limited, Medcare Plus Clinic, and Acheampomaah Pharmaceuticals. Acheampomaah is also a dedicated wife and mother of four children.
