Rudolf Kwami Akutu is the Head of Internal Audit at Equity Health Insurance Limited. Prior to joining Equity, he served as a Senior Accountant at the Ghana Health Service, where he led budgetary oversight, financial reporting, and donor fund management for key national health programs. His career began at ETC Agro Ghana Limited and further progressed through accounting leadership roles at DIMD Ghana Limited, where he championed operational efficiency and professional development within finance teams.
Rudolf holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Cape Coast, is a Chartered Accountant certified by the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana, and is currently an MBA-Finance candidate from the University of Cape Coast.
He is a results-driven accounting and audit professional with over nine years of experience in financial management across public and private sectors. Known for his precision, regulatory compliance expertise, and process improvement initiatives, Rudolf has consistently delivered value by aligning financial operations with strategic goals. His leadership at Equity has strengthened internal controls, reduced fraud, and enhanced regulatory reporting across departments.
