NHIS Top-Up Plan

The NHIS Top-Up Plan gives you extra healthcare benefits on top of your NHIS cover. It is affordable, flexible, and open to all ages.

Coverage includes:

• Doctor consultations
• Lab tests
• Basic scans (X-ray, ultrasound, ECG, endoscopy, etc.)
• Generic medicines
• Telemedicine consultations
• Eye care (optical)
• Dental care
• Monthly drug support (for medicines not covered by NHIS)

Limits: Outpatient up to GHS 240/month. Inpatient up to GHS 560/month.
Premiums: From GHS 60/month. Pay monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, or yearly.
Payment methods: MoMo, bank transfer, cheque, C&AGD.
Waiting period: 1 month.
Benefits: Refresh monthly (no rollover).
Eligibility: Open to all ages.
